I found these little porcelain birds at the Blithewold Mansion Gift Shop after touring the House and viewing the beautiful gardens with stunning views of Narraganset Bay. Most of my paintings contain a narrative, something that makes you smile or laugh out loud – and I hope that these paintings of animated inanimate objects do just that!
These little guys, the “Birdees“, were originally available through the Providence Art Club as part of the 118th Little Pictures Show which ran from Sunday, November 6 through until Friday, December 23, 2022. I am overjoyed that eleven of the little Birdees have found their ways to new homes. The remaining paintings are now available through this website or you can contact me via email.
