Lavender oil

$550.00

Lavender is used as ornamental garden shrubs, culinary herbs and as an ingredient in essential oils.  Thought to be named from the Latin lavere meaning ‘bluish’, the scent reminds me of tiny lace pillows in granny’s closet. The antique oil can was once used to lubricate a treadle sewing machine. I hope you enjoy these found objects painted from life.
