After posing with the bobbin, I had to introduce this little red bird to another part of my sewing kit – the trusty and reliable thimble.
It has such a curious expression on the figurine. It seems to be thinking a myriad of thoughtsall at once! ‘Peekaboo ? What is inside that silver thingy? Is it food? Or is it hiding food inside it? I see, ummm, Nefertiti’s hat, no wait …. It’s nanny’s silver thimble!’
What do you think this little guy appears is expecting to find coming out of the upturned thimble? Maybe it’s a fascination with the shiny object.
