Flap like a bird, jump like a fish. Sit down, stand up, wish wish wish! That,’ Christopher Robin said to Pooh at the wishing tree, is very real.’ and later in the story Pooh wonders: ‘What was it again that Christopher Robin said? Flap like a bird …… oh bother, I cannot be remembering it except for looking.’ These words came to me whilst playing with this setup. They are probably not entirely accurate and yet, here is this little bird ornament, wondering like Pooh, looking and wishing, gazing on a star.
